A few highlights of the week ahead (week of April 9):

• Daisy Leadership Team Meeting, 8 am, Mon.
• BOE Meeting, Tues. at 7 pm.  (Our students, Alyssa Leandri and Patrick Pluck, will be recognized at the meeting for their Music/Art Achievement.)
• Department-Based PLC on Wed., 3:15-4:15 pm.
• "Storm Tracker" Mobile Weather Lab will visit our fourth-graders on Fri.

Wishing everyone a wonderful April vacation (April 16-20) and we'll see you back in school on Monday, April 23.  We have lots of wonderful Earth Day Activities for the week we return, which are currently being finalized by the Daisy PTO.  We will post specifics on our Daisy Staff Google Calendar ASAP, so please check that link often!

FYI, the school and office will be open during the week of April 16, and the Park/Rec Vacation Camp will be at Daisy.

Daisy Friends,

Do hope that everyone enjoyed a joyous, long weekend.

You know that you live in New England when a couple of beautiful, spring-like days are followed by a prediction of snow for Monday!  Cruel April Fools joke, possibly?

Thanks to all for everything you put into getting Report Cards out for Trimester 2 last week.

As we look forward to the week ahead, please know that:

• The Daisy PTO will meet this Tues. from 7-8 pm.
• We have a Faculty Mtg. after school on Wed., which will include a "Read & Write" Training.
• Our district's Health & Wellness Fair will be held this Thursday, April 5, from 1-5 pm, at Westbrook High School.  Please plan to stop by after school.  There will be lots of health/wellness exhibitors with interesting door prizes!  This event is sponsored by our district Health & Wellness Committee.
• The "Storm Tracker" will visit fourth graders this Friday from 1-3 pm, as part of their study of extreme weather.
• In Grade-Level Meetings this week, we will look at data from students' most recent assessments.
• Kindergarten Registration will be ongoing.
