Daisy Daily for the Week of April 1, 2019

Thanks so much to Laurie Kukta and her second-graders for creating this amazing bulletin board with such an important message!

Daisy Friends,

As we start a new week, here are a few notes to keep us all informed:
  • Kindergarten Registration will continue to take place this week, with appointments scheduled at the convenience of incoming families during the day and evening.
  • Please note that our Leadership Team Meeting will be held at 8 am on Wednesday of this week (rather than Tuesday) as I need to attend a TEAM District Facilitator Meeting at LEARN before school on Tuesday.
  • We have a PTO Meeting  scheduled for Tues., April 2, from 5:30-6:30 pm.  Staff members are welcome to attend all PTO Meetings.
  • Our monthly Faculty Meeting will take place on Wed., April 3, from 3:15-4:15 pm in the cafe, where we will re-visit our prioritized long-range planning goals.
  • April Vacation Week is the week of April 15th.  Our school office will be open and Park/Rec Vacation Camp will take place at school that week with the exception of Fri., April 19, which is a holiday.
  • Grade-level Meetings will take place as regularly scheduled (see link to Calendar).  We usually reserve Week 3 of each month to discuss student data, but since April vacation takes place during the third week of the month, we will study student data next week/Week 2.
  • Earth Week Activities will take place during the week of April 22.
  • SBAC Assessments for third- and fourth-graders are scheduled to take place the weeks of May 6 and 13.
  • Currently, Fourth Grade Promotion is scheduled for Fri., June 14, with the last day of school currently on Mon., June 17.

As always, please let me know any concerns. Let's make it a wonderful week!
