I hope that everyone has enjoyed a refreshing break, reconnecting with family and friends, and that you're ready for new adventures at Daisy in 2016!!!

We've got a lot to look forward to!  Here are a few highlights:

• Our Family Literacy Night is this Thursday, Jan. 7, from 5-7 pm.  Diana, Diane, Michele and Kim have been instrumental in preparing for this.  Please visit our "trailer" (movie) to promote it, which is on our website.  It's sure to be a very exciting night for our students and families as they play a giant, life-size game of CLUE to solve a mystery about reading.  Please consider coming to join us in the fun.  Pizza will be served, along with a short video explaining how to play the game at the beginning of the evening.
• Our new phone system has been installed and you'll find new phones in your classrooms/offices.  They're pretty user-friendly.  All extensions remain the same, with the addition of the digit "1" in advance of the 3-digit room code.  We'll provide instructions for setting up voicemail, etc.
• We now have a live feed for our Daisy Facebook Page on our school website.  You don't have to belong to Facebook to see this, so please check this out!
• Please take the time to welcome our students back--and each other--as we get back into the swing.  Getting back to our usual routines will be the best thing for our children!
