Hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful, long Memorial Day Weekend!

As we gear up for the last few weeks of school, here are some reminders.  Please see the dates that follow as we attempt to fit everything into our schedules, and as always, please let me know anything that I might have forgotten!

• To All Daisy Staff, if you didn't complete the Staff School Climate Survey at our last Staff Meeting, please take the time to do this right away.  It is crucial that we have your feedback as we plan for continual improvements at Daisy.  The link to the survey is:

• Reminder to those Faculty Members (Classroom Teachers, Special Area Teachers) whose evaluation is performed by me........please complete your end-of-year reflection in Bloomboard and schedule a 20-minute conference with me through Shea.
• Please remember to BREATHE and take your time with colleagues and students.........we WILL get it all done!

Wednesday, June 1---"D" Day

• 8:00-8:45 am--Scheduling Committee Meeting in Ruth's Office
• 1:30-2:30 pm--Grades 1 and 4 Team Meetings
• 3:15-4:15 pm--Staff Meeting (Details to follow)

Thursday, June 2---"A" Day

• 12:30-1:30 pm--Grade K Team Meeting
• 2:15 pm---In-School Concert performed by 4th Graders in Gym (Tentative Date)

Friday, June 3---"B" Day

• 8:00-8:45 am Daisy Leadership Meeting in Ruth's Office
• Grade 4 Field Trip to Wethersfield Historical Society; (8:45 am-1 pm)

• 11 am-Noon--Grade 3 Team Meeting
• 2:00 pm--"Good News" Assembly, including Buddy Bench Dedication

THE FINAL WEEKS.....

• June 6
• 9:55-10:55 am--"Young Athletes" AM Preschool Event in Gym
• June 7
• 9:30 am--Volunteer Reception (details to follow)
• June 8
• 10 am - Noon--Ruth to Admin. Council
• 12:30-1:30 pm--"Young Athletes" PM Preschool Event in Gym
• 2 pm--WHS Concert brought to Daisy by Rachael Allen (for all those available to attend)
• 3:15-4:15 pm--Department-Based PLC Meetings
• June 9
• 9-10:30 am--4th Grade Students to visit WMS w/ Teachers & 1:1 Support Staff
• 9 am--K Walking Field Trip to the Beach
• 1 pm Dismissal for Students
• 1:15 pm--End-of-Year Luncheon for All Staff in Cafe
• June 10
• 4th Grade Promotion--9:00 am; followed by 4th Grade Celebration (outside activities)
• 1 pm Dismissal for Students
• Transition Meetings--PM
• 3:30 pm--End-of-Year Celebration for staff at Fresh Salt at Saybrook Point.  (Pay as you go; no reservations nor payment in advance)
• June 13
• Last Day of School for Students
• 9 am--"Step Up" Day for current K-3 graders (opportunity to visit next year's classroom)
• 4th Grade Pizza Party/Yearbook Signing in Cafe
• 1 pm Dismissal for Students
• Transition Meetings--PM
• 8:30 am--Graduation at WMS
• 5 pm Graduation at WHS (Line up at 4:15 pm)

• Last Day of School for Teachers
• 7 pm Board of Education Meeting
