Daisy Daily for Week of June 12, 2017

June 11, 2017

We appreciate our wonderful paraprofessionals every day!

Daisy Friends,

We're in the final stretch.  I know that these last week and a day with students is jam-packed and thanks to all for your flexibility.  Please let me know any concerns you have about anything coming up.

Report Cards are open in Power School and will go home with students on the last day of school.  Please let me know any concerns you have with any particular students and please feel free to print the final Report Card in color.

Here's a look at the week/s ahead:

  • Monday, June 12:  Volunteer Reception for all school volunteers as well as bus drivers.  There will be "Coffee And" at 8:30 am in café, followed by parade through school at 9 am.  Please consider bringing in a treat to share with our volunteers and stop in the cafe by if you're available between 8:30-8:50 am. We'll announce when the parade begins and we'd love to have all students and adults come out of classrooms to line the hallways and clap and show signs of appreciation as our volunteers parade by.  Thanks to all for extending invitations to your special classroom volunteers.
  • Tuesday, June 13: FIELD DAY
  • Fingers crossed for good weather.  Please encourage students to bring water bottles and know that we have a good supply of water bottles (left over from the Trick or Trot) for those we don't have them.  There will be plenty of water stations outside as well as a nurse's station. There will be some changes of assignments due to utilizing this rain date.
