Daisy Staff,

A few notes about this week:

• We will enjoy an in-school performance of our Fourth Grade Choral/Band Concert on Monday, June 5, at 9 am in the gym.
• Daisy Leadership Team will meet at 8 am on Tuesday, June 6.
• The final PTO Meeting of the school year will take place on Tuesday evening, June 6, at 7 pm in the café.
• The final "Coffee & Chat" Breakfast for EL families (for this school year) will take place on Wednesday, June 7, from 7:45-8:30 am in Room 20.
• Our pre-schoolers will be involved in "Young Athletes" games on Wednesday, June 7, from 10-11 am and 12:30-1:30 pm in the gym.
• Faculty Meeting is scheduled for 3:15-4:15 pm on Wednesday, June 7.
• Our Grades K through 3 classroom teachers will be taking the CSDE Foundations of Reading Survey on Thursday, June 8, in Room 1.  There will be an AM session from 8-11 am and a PM session from 12-3 pm.
• We will honor our Paraprofessionals with a breakfast in their honor on Friday, June 9, between 8-9 am.  Teachers and other staff members--please sign up in the Staff Lunch Room to help provide treats for this breakfast.

Next week:

• Monday, June 12:  Volunteer Reception for all school volunteers as well as Bus Drivers.  "Coffee And" at 8:30 am in café, followed by parade through school.  Details to follow in e-mail.
• Tuesday, June 13:  RAINDATE FOR FIELD DAY
• Wednesday, June 14: Grade 2 Community Helper Presentation for Families and Friends in the afternoon.
• Wednesday, June 13: Department PLCs after school.
• Thursday, June 15: Staff Luncheon for ALL staff at 1 pm in café.
• Friday, June 16: Grade 4 Promotion in Gym at 9:15 am.

Monday, June 19:

• Students' Final Day; 1 pm Dismissal
• 9 am--"Step Up" Visit for incoming K-4 graders during 4th grade specials.
• 5 pm--WHS Graduation

Tuesday, June 20:

• PD Day for Teachers
• 8-10 am--PD Session re: Traits of Successful Learners
• 1-3 pm--PD re: SAAP Training

Wednesday, June 21:

• Last Day for Teachers
• 8-10 am--SAAP Training
• 8-10 am--Incident Command Training
• 12 noon-1 pm--Summer School Meeting
